Memorable Holiday Gift Ideas from YesVideo

Here we are, in the throes of the holiday season. As is the usual this time of year, each day huge shipments of YesDVD orders arrive and we’re are very excited to see our customers sharing their memories with Smileshow. Folks sharing photos simply warms our hearts!

If you’re still at a loss on what to get your friends and loved ones, we jotted down some of our ideas:

The Gift of Shared History

We get it. We all procrastinate so here’s a reason to take those old home movies on 8mm and VHS tapes to your local retailer for transfer today: they make great gifts for family members! Transfer your parents’ wedding video, the films of your childhood birthday parties and other occasions onto a Hollywood-style YesDVD, complete with chapter titles and fun music videos.

To get started, head to our website and prepare your order. Then drop off your films at your local retailer. That’s it. Doesn’t get much easier than that!

Oh wait, it sure does get easier! If you’ve recently transferred your home movies through Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy or Bartell Drugs, your YesDVDs may be securely viewed and shared online with MemorySafe™, YesVideo's new digital archive program.

2009: The Movie
Take a few minutes to cull through your favorite photos and videos from this year. Add a special touch by scanning in children’s artwork and keepsakes like event tickets and scrapbook pages. Combine the digital images and videos using the Smileshow DVD service at www.smileshowdvd.com. You can add music and select from chapter and menu themes to complete the movie slideshow.

Smileshow DVDs and YesDVDs can be viewed on any standard DVD player and make wonderful gifts sure to please. The deadline for YesDVD holiday orders is today, December 3 and Smileshow orders need to be in by December 14 for delivery by December 24.
